Registration Fee

[Note] Persons may join the symposium without contributing papers upon the payment of registration fees. Part of the surplus collected per participant who is a non-ISHS member, equivalent to the annual individual ISHS membership dues, will be paid to the Society and used to grant the non-ISHS members the advantages of ISHS membership during one year. Students must present their official certificate by email or fax.

Participants' fee covers: A copy of proceeding (one volume of Acta Horticulturae); Booklet of Program and Abstracts; participation in all sessions; coffee or tea at breaks; breakfast, breakfast, lunch and supper for September 21 to 25; breakfast for September 26; one day mid-symposium professional tour; the obligatory expenses for the organization e.g. meeting rooms, translation, transportation, invited speakers, secretariat, printed material, mailings.

Accompanying persons' fee covers: Participation in all sessions; coffee or tea at breaks; breakfast, lunch and supper for September 21 to 25; breakfast for September 26; one day mid-symposium professional tour; the obligatory expenses for the organization e.g. meeting rooms, translation, transportation, invited speakers, secretariat, printed material, mailings.

Students' fee covers: Booklet of Program and Abstracts; participation in all sessions; coffee or tea at breaks; breakfast, lunch and supper for September 21 to 25; breakfast for September 26; one day mid-symposium professional tour; the obligatory expenses for the organization e.g. meeting rooms, translation, transportation, invited speakers, secretariat, printed material, mailings. A copy of Acta Horticulturae with additional US$ 100.

Post-symposium trip fee covers: a shuttle bus between Baoding and Beijing, transportation and tickets for sightseeing, hotels for 2 nights and meals for two days during stay in Beijing.

Hotel Reservation
The Symposium Organizing Committee has reserved sufficient rooms in Zhongyin Hotel () located in the city center at discounted rates to accommodate all participants and accompanying persons. There will be free shuttle bus between the official Symposium hotel to the venue (Agricultural University of Hebei). The IJS2008 Secretariat will help your booking. It is strongly recommended to stay at the official Symposium hotel for its conveniences.

Methods of Payment
Due to the difficulty of transferring funds remotely by credit card through the Chinese banking system, all payments need to be made by bank transfer. The charge for bank transfer should not be covered by registration fee.
